By the Vasila Mubarak of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (RA) and the Doa Mubarak of Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS), the Educational Upliftment Program for Karachi Mumineen is now in its 16th year.
Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (RA) and Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS) have on a number of occasions advocated the Upliftment of Mumineen. This inspirational outlook has created a large number of programs for self-employment, housing, education, etc.
Mumineen, all over the world, proudly boast of a 100 percent literacy rate of our community. Yet this statistic is vastly an over simplistic one.
Equally true for low income families is that the lack of quality education in one generation creates a social outlook that does not place a suitable emphasis on the quality of education of the next. A vicious circle is thereby created.
Methodology
Neighborhood Initiative for Better Education
Develop quality database of all children (0 – 16 years).
Develop database of all schools within proximity availed by children.
Start counseling of Parents for all children eligible but non school going or going to sub standard schools.
Discuss results with Central Committee on a regular basis and continuously monitor children going in standard schools.
