Ibrahim Mohalla’s spreadsheet has now been reconciled with our database.We have 56 students below the age of 16.5 who are either not in school or going in sub-standard schools. These include 15 children below the age of 3.5.

We have had 25 admissions this year, including the 4 admitted in Montessori-only schools (which are considered sub-standard simply for the purpose of monitoring the admission of these children in good schools later on). School-wise breakup of these 25 children is as follows;

9 children between the ages 3.5 and 10.5 are of particular concern. This includes one child not going to school, with the rest in sub-standard schools. Rest of the children are of a higher age. The Mohalla Team continues its efforts to persuade them.

80% of the results, of children being financed, have been obtained. Efforts are underway to obtain the rest.

The Mohalla Team will be working in Ramazan and beyond that to complete data on new births in their Mohalla. This will be added to the database for use 2-3 years down the line.
