As per Raza of Shazada Abbas Bhaisaheb Fakhruddin Saheb (DM), for the first time this program has been extended beyond the SSC Level.  The objective is to ensure that children who have completed Matriculation (SSC) this year continue their studies, and do not drop out of the education stream.

Our focus is on ALL the children in the Mohalla who appeared in SSC exams this year, and not just those who are receiving financial assistance.

30 children were identified in Adam Mohalla who appeared in SSC exams this year. Follow up started as early as May 2011 and is continuing even now.

A summary of these 30 children is as follows;

Enrolled in Colleges: 23
Repeating Matric: 05
Vocational: 01
Not Interested further: 01

Children enrolled in colleges are in private and government colleges. 5 children failed in their Matric exams and the Mohalla team will try and ensure that they do appear in supplementary exams to be held later in the year. 1 child is not interested in further studies despite having cleared all papers in Matric. He, too, will be pursued and counselled to continue studies.

The Mohalla Team has worked hard on these students. Their efforts are very much appreciated. They understand and know that their work in this area is not yet complete and will attempt to pursue these few children so that they continue their education.
